Disney+ Removes More Movies & TV Shows

Disney is removing a number of films across Disney+, Hulu, and Star+ as announced during Disney’s most recent quarterly report. The company is striving to cut $1.8 billion from its current budget and reallocate the money towards more profitable content.

This past May, Disney already eliminated over 100 films and series from its content library totaling $1.5 billion in budgetary savings by eliminating loads of licensing fees for content that simply wasn’t grabbing audiences. Some programs are literally getting no views. Essentially, these titles are collecting digital dust and doing Disney no favors by remaining on the platforms.
