Beyoncé new album tracklist confirms highly-anticipated Dolly Parton cover

Beyoncé has unveiled the tracklisting for her upcoming album Act II: Cowboy Carterand as previously rumored it is set to include a cover of Dolly Parton’s indelible 1973 country hit “Jolene”.

Earlier this month Parton spoke to Knox News about Beyoncé, saying: “I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably going to be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that.”

Askern Music Festival organizers apply for new venue license

On 9 April, Doncaster Council’s licensing sub-committee will decide whether to approve a new venue license for Askern Music Festival.

Organizers have applied to move the annual event to Askern Events Field for 2024.

The license would allow the site to operate as a Music Festival Venue for the duration of the event, permitting the sale of alcohol and performance of music.
