The 2023 Audubon Photography Awards: The Top 100

Another year, another fantastic Audubon Photography Awards. For the 14 installment of our annual competition, we had more than 2,200 individuals from across the United States and Canada submit almost 9,000 photographs and videos. Then the hard part begins: After reviewing every anonymous image and video file, three panels of expert judges selected just 13 winners and honorable mentions. Hot! How a Backyard Photographer Captured Some of the Most Detailed Images of the Sun

For much of the past decade, Andrew McCarthy has been exploring the universe—albeit from his backyard in Arizona.

Using telescopes with specialized filters, planetary cameras, and astro-specific software, he captures the happenings of the universe in all their beguiling and beautiful detail. McCarthy has photographed the passage of the International Space Station, the crimson glow of nebulae, the glint of asteroids, and the pockmarked face of the moon.

Viral theory new Kate Middleton photo is actually 8 years old

Kate Middleton has admitted she was responsible for altering the first official photo of herself post-surgery.

As a result, the number of conspiracy theories circulating online has escalated – including claims old photos of the Princess were superimposed onto the Mother’s Day portrait.

One theory that a photo from Kate’s 2016 Vogue photo shoot was repurposed has been viewed more than 25 million times on X, formerly Twitter, with more than 130,000 likes.
